What is Membrane Installation
At M Nutt Damp & Timber Treatment, we install specialist damp proof membranes designed to support the drying process after a new Damp Proof Course (DPC) is inserted.
These membranes act as a barrier against residual moisture and salt contamination in walls, helping to stabilise the surface before plastering and decoration.
Unlike cavity drainage systems used in basements or cellars, our membranes are specifically intended for internal walls above ground level — preventing salt transfer and promoting a stable, dry finish after damp treatment.
